How the dime dime baby trend started
The dime dime baby trend joins two things that appeared more than a year apart: a party clip from northern Mexico and a 2026 KAROL G song. The man in the clip is Eve Ramírez, and his story is on the dime dime baby guy page. Four stages took it from a staffer's moment at a quinceañera to the AI versions on TikTok.
June and July 2025: the quinceañera clip
The earliest known upload, by @enriquecruzmart, is dated 27 June 2025. A staffer in a black STAFF polo at a quinceañera in Múzquiz, Coahuila, dances toward the camera, bites a concha and stares into the lens. He posted it himself on 24 July 2025 as "El video original".
August and September 2026: the song
KAROL G's album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto came out on 7 August 2026 with "BbY WOW", featuring Judeline and rusowsky, which followed as a single on 5 September. Its hook, "Dime, dime, baby" (in Spanish, "dime" means "tell me"), later gave the trend its name.
October 2026: the meme
TikTok creators laid the clip over a sped-up cut of BbY WOW so the bite lands on the beat, and it went viral a second time. People called it the "dime dime baby" or "bby wow guy" meme; why it makes people laugh is covered on the dime dime baby meme page.
Mid-October 2026: the AI versions
AI remakes came next: the identical party shot, but with a friend, a cowboy, a grandma, a dog or a cat where he used to be. This is the stage of the bby wow trend that this site is built for.
Three ways to join the dime dime baby trend
People post their versions in three ways, and they differ mainly in how much work they take. The original clip and the kinds of remakes people share are on the dime dime baby video page.
Film it at a party
Recreate the walk-in, the bite and the stare yourself. You need a party, a concha, a friend with a phone and a straight face, and probably a few takes.
Edit a CapCut or green-screen template
CapCut meme templates and green-screen versions of the clip exist, and they take more steps inside an editing app. The dime dime baby template page compares them with the two templates here.
Swap a photo into the original
AI tools such as Higgsfield exist and need more steps; one-photo sites like this one need only a picture. The person or pet in it repeats his moves on the original dance floor.
Your version of the bby wow trend in four steps
The full walkthrough, with captions and common mistakes, is the guide on how to make dime dime baby AI video. These are the four steps.
Posting your dime dime baby trend video
Dime Dime Baby AI handles the casting and the render; these three details are up to you when you post.
Use the BbY WOW TikTok sound
Add BbY WOW from the app's sound library when you upload. That is how the trend gathers its videos, and how people watching other versions come across yours.
Keep the bite on the beat
The sped-up cut is built around the moment he bites the concha, at about 3 seconds. Your video keeps the original timing, so the bite sits where the sound expects it.
Cast someone unexpected
The AI versions people post swap in someone you would not expect at a quinceañera: a grandma, a cowboy, a cat. The deadpan stare does the rest.
Dime dime baby trend questions
What is the dime dime baby trend?
A TikTok meme built on a 2025 clip of a quinceañera staffer, Eve Ramírez, biting a concha and staring into the camera. In October 2026 it was paired with a faster version of KAROL G's "BbY WOW", and from mid-October people began posting AI versions with friends, grandmas and pets in his place.
When did the dime dime baby trend start?
The clip is older than the trend. It first shows up online on 27 June 2025, and Eve Ramírez posted it on his own account on 24 July 2025. The song arrived on 7 August 2026, the clip went viral with it in October 2026, and the AI remakes followed from mid-October.
Is the baby wow trend the same as the bby wow trend?
Yes. "Baby wow" is a common misspelling of BbY WOW, so both names, like "dime dime baby" and "the concha guy", lead to the same quinceañera clip. A separate two-person BbY WOW dance step by the Venezuelan group LOS MENOR3S also circulates; that is a different dance, and this site does not make it.
What song is used in the bby wow trend?
"BbY WOW", KAROL G's track with Judeline and rusowsky from No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, played faster than the album version. Speeding it up puts the beat right on the bite. Videos made here keep the original party sound, so you add the song as a sound on TikTok or Instagram when posting.
Do I need CapCut to join?
No. Here you upload one photo in a browser and download a finished MP4 without any editing app. CapCut meme templates and green-screen versions of the clip exist if you prefer to edit, but they take more steps. The MP4 also opens in any editor if you want to add text before posting.
Can my pet join the trend?
Yes. Cats and dogs are among the AI versions people post. Choose the Pet template, upload a clear picture of the animal looking at the camera and pick 5 or 9 seconds. Your pet becomes the one crossing the dance floor, bite and stare included.
Can I try it for free?
Yes, once. New accounts start with 20 free credits, which pays for one Lite 5-second video in 480p: the walk-in, the bite and the first moment of the stare. A failed or filtered render costs nothing, because the credits go straight back to your balance.
Is this site run by TikTok or KAROL G's team?
No. This site is fan-made and independent: Dime Dime Baby AI is not affiliated with TikTok, KAROL G, Judeline, rusowsky or Eve Ramírez. It is a separate web tool that puts the person or pet from your photo into the trend's original clip, ready for you to post.
